The Vertafore Incentive Plan (VIP) is an annual monetary bonus for eligible employees based on both individual and company performance. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.

New York eHealth Collaborative / TechBD – Integration Engineer/Coordinator
New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) is a not-for-profit organization working in partnership with the New York State Department of Health to improve healthcare by collaboratively leading, connecting, and integrating health information exchange across the State.
Founded in 2006 by healthcare leaders, NYeC works to help New York State achieve the Triple Aim of improving the patient experience of care, delivering better health outcomes, and reducing costs. On behalf of the State, NYeC leads the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY), a network connecting healthcare providers statewide, develops policies and standards that support the utilization of health technologies, assists healthcare providers in adopting and effectively using electronic health records, and ensures that the SHIN-NY provides services to support the State’s public health and Medicaid efforts.
As TechBD is still in its early stage, the Integration Engineer/Coordinator role will be leased from New York eHealth Collaborative to Technology by Design, meaning NYeC will issue the employee’s paycheck, report taxes, and provide benefits but the employee will conduct work for TechBD.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer/Coordinator to join our innovative team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions, while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of HIE technology, collaborating with New York’s Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), and ensuring seamless integration of various systems and applications, enabling efficient and effective data flow across the organization. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of integration principles and best practices. You should be adept at analyzing complex problems, identifying root causes, and providing innovative solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will be working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
This position reports to the Executive Director of TechBD. This role can be based out of the Albany, NY or Manhattan, NY office.

We consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience, qualifications, and home office location (Manhattan, NY vs. Albany, NY). The annual base salary range for this role for an Albany based candidate is $110,00 to $130,000. The annual base salary range for this role for a NYC based candidate is $130,000 to $155,000.The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, NYeC will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with NYeC. All compensation questions and comments should be directed to the HR Department representative during your application, interview, and hiring process.
