Meet the team:

We’re seeking a software engineer to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain iOS application software with focus on application hardening and obfuscation. You will work alongside highly skilled and passionate innovators who know how to deliver exceptional results while also having some fun along the way. Job Responsibilities: Fine-tune and harden a variety of sophisticated mobile software implementation projects to make them more resistant to attack and prevent unauthorized modifications. Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs. Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications Implement system software and customize to client requirements. Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans. Job Summary

The VMWare – Engineer (Hybrid) role is a direct report to the IT Infrastructure Real-Time Operations Supervisor within IT infrastructure group. The VMWare – Engineer (Hybrid) role will be involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting software and systems. In addition, UW Medicine shares in the ownership and governance of Children’s University Medical Group and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (a partnership between UW Medicine, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research, and Seattle Children’s). PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Technology team as Manager, Software Engineering. The candidate would join an agile team responsible for building our instant booking experience. The candidate will be responsible for leading the team in analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation, and implementation of new product features.

  • Own and review deliverables for accuracy, quality, performance, and completeness
  • Work with team to create architecture and design documents, project timeline, and user stories
  • Ability to lead and manage a globally distributed development team
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of members of the team

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 7+ years of professional engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team (team/tech lead or Engineering Manager)
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline
  • Experience with Microservices architecture is a plus
  • AWS experience is a plus
  • Ability to thrive as part of a multi-site development team

Salary Range: 141,733 to 178,211. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
