Meet the team:

This opening is for the Software Test Development Engineer 2 for the Dexcom R&D V&V Organization. The team validates Dexcom’s CGM software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products including SDK, firmware, apps, and server platform. Develops or modifies test automations and/or test tools and executes software test plans and test protocols and automated test scripts. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with software development engineers in resolution of problems.

Where you come in:

  • Design, develop the mobile App based test tools for the Dexcom CGM SDK product automation.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts to test the functionalities of the Dexcom CGM SDK software, and integration to the mobile Apps.
  • Validate the configuration, functionality, and user interface of software and tools.
  • Document test plans, protocols and reports with detailed results of the product validation.
  • Record and track issues in the bug tracking system.
  • Analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated.
  • Review software requirements and design specifications.
  • Modify test protocols based on requirements changes and execute regression validation accordingly.
  • Create requirements traceability matrices which demonstrate test coverage of all features.
  • Follow internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures that comply with medical and security regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Experiences in Software development or software test development.
  • Experiences in OOP language such as JAVA and Python.

We are hiring for a remote based SW Development Engineer 2 that will be located in one of our HUB regions in: CA, Pacific NW, Texas or Chicago. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the Data Platforms team and the larger Dexcom Software and Data Organization. You will work with Data Platform Engineers to build the infrastructure to support our data pipelines, storage and API through which reliable, clean, meaningful data is provided to internal and external stakeholders.

Meet the team:

Dexcom is hiring for a Senior Android Software Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this position, you will be designing and developing Android applications to help improve the lives of people with diabetes. You will be joining a well-established company that’s on an upward growth trajectory.

Where you come in:

  • You will design and build applications for the Android platform
  • You’ll implement requirements on Android apps, write and update design documents
  • We’ll rely on you to continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency
  • You’ll interface with software test to ensure high quality product
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests
  • You’ll participate in design, code and test reviews, provide technical leadership
  • You will propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability

What makes you successful:

  • You have a minimum 2 years of native Android app development experience using Java and Kotlin and 5 years of professional software development experience
  • You bring a high degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding
  • You have experience working in Agile teams & using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • You have experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions
  • You have experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow
  • You have experience writing automated tests
  • You have working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP
