Position Summary

This position is an entry level or training position for someone who aspires to become a software engineer using application development concepts, processes, and tools. This is a hybrid position based in Portland, Oregon.

Pay Range

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or working on a bachelor’s degree, in a discipline such as software engineering, computer science, information technology, or computer and information systems. A good understanding of programming and technical skills is essential.
  • Any experience developing application or database solutions is beneficial. Internships, coding bootcamps, team projects, and certifications.
  • Working on proficiencies in programming languages. Knowledge of one or more scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell, or object -oriented language such as C++, Java, .NET is essential for this role.

Responsible for supporting and maintaining software applications, design enhancements and project development. Acts as a member of the in-house development team to both build new tools and services. We are looking for an experienced, curious and self-governing engineer to be part of a core component team. As a senior engineer, we expect the candidate to contribute and own heavily used and technically sound features of Adobe Experience Platform.

Tasks here can range from software design and reviews to developing highly efficient enterprise software and good quality code. You will work closely with architects, product management, and other stakeholders. Since most of the work would involve either processing high-volume data or managing sophisticated data pipelines, a candidate who can develop end to end view of a system will be preferred.

What you'll need to succeed

Masters' degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Prior experience working on large scale distributed systems or data processing systems.

Primary Job Responsibilities
